Procedures: How to Apply

Candidates for the Zuckerman Fellowship must submit a fellowship application to the Zuckerman Fellows Program at the Committee on General Scholarships. The fellowship application requires the following materials:

  • a completed and signed Fellowship Application Form,
  • a résumé or curriculum vitae,
  • a statement of purpose (please see the Guidelines for instructions),
  • two letters of recommendation (please see the Guidelines for instructions).

Interviews

Finalists for the Zuckerman Fellowship will be required to come to Harvard for an interview with members of the Zuckerman Fellowship Selection Committee. The interviews will take place on March 12 and March 13, 2008. Should you be selected to interview, you will receive an invitation via email on March 7, 2008 which will provide more detailed information. Hotel expenses and expenses for travel to and from Cambridge will be paid for by Harvard University. Information regarding interviews will not be available prior to March 7th. The Committee on General Scholarships will not respond to telephone or email inquiries regarding an applicant's interview status prior to March 7th.
